Why support Plant Boy's Lacrosse?

  •  It is the ONLY fundraiser of the year for the Boy's lacrosse team.
  • 100% of all designated ticket sales go directly to the boy's lacrosse team.
  • Funds raised by this event are used for needed supplies, gear and extra training.

It is anticipated that the 'Pay-to-Play' fee will be reduced by over $100, so we are requesting that each family buy three (3) tickets!

History

The Panther Bowl was created in 2010 by local business leaders and has been a major source of funding for our 23 sanctioned athletic programs.  As the county and state continues to reduce funding for public school programs, schools such as Plant High School are increasingly dependent upon fundraising events to support the academic and athletic programs that our students deserve and need to achieve their potential. 

We are required to self-fund most of the costs associated with the lacrosse program.  This includes team transportation to all away games (our biggest expense), practice uniforms, lacrosse balls, tournament fees, game day shirts for the boys to wear to school, team equipment, senior night and our end of the year banquet.
